How to apply mineral makeup, the best way to apply mineral makeup, mineral makeup application, mineral makeup foundation.
So now you have your mineral makeup samples and a few select brushes, it is best to use a mild facial cleanser and a good moisturiser before you start, to apply the foundation it is best to put a little of it into the lid or a small dish and swirl it around so that the fine powder gets fully onto the fine hairs of the brush, you will find that this makes the powder look more like a cream, you then tap the brush to remove excess powder and starting from the outside of your face work in a circular motion towards the centre of your face swirling the brush all the time and using lighter and lighter strokes until you are just grazing the skin with the brush.
If you have spots or blemishes apply your concealer first before the foundation and apply it to the areas that you want in light layers or if you have lots of these problem areas then you can even mix it into your moisturiser, don’t worry just give it a try because once you put on the foundation it will cover all of it over and blend in so that nobody will see a thing, this is also a good tip if you have rosacea or dark circles under your eyes.
Remember to be gentle when you are buffing because if you buff too hard you will buff the makeup off when you think you are buffing it on, it’s an easy mistake to make but as well as taking your makeup off it can also irritate your skin.
If after you have put on the foundation your skin looks a bit dry then you have probably not let your moisturiser soak in for long enough, you should let it soak in for at least five minutes before putting on your mineral makeup foundation.
