The routine for applying mineral makeup on men is a little different than it is for women but men should also read the tips for women on this site and women should also read this page, first of all you have a close shave and then wait for at least half an hour, then wash your face with exfoliator and warm water then rinse and pat dry, after this apply toner using a pad and patting it onto your skin gently this will get your skin to it’s normal PH level.
Next apply moisturiser on your face and neck and wait for it to absorb then you are ready to apply the concealer, pick up some concealer on a fine brush and put it on the centre of the spot or blemish and work outwards in a circular motion until it blends in with the skin, remember only apply a little at a time and apply in layers until you get the desired result on each blemish, then brush your face with some foundation powder lightly going over your forehead face and nose, a good tip is to go a little harder on your cheekbones to add definition.
You can add a little colour by brushing on some bronzer over your nose, forehead, chin and most importantly your cheekbones, there are bronzers that are made just for men but you can also use brands for women which tend to have more choice, do not use the brushes that come with these products, always use good quality fine brushes, also never let your eyebrows join in the middle, you are allowed to pluck them and trim them, so do it.
You should always remember to remove your makeup at the end of the evening and moisturise your skin, this will help avoid spots and get your skin ready for the next mineral makeup application.
