Using mineral makeup, how to use mineral makeup, we show the best way to use mineral makeup, using bronzer, foundation & finishing veil.
It is best to apply bronzer before the blusher, start by gently brushing a little bronzer on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin and then follow upwards along your cheekbone, don’t use too much because mineral makeup is not thick like normal makeup so just continue to use small amounts swirled onto the brush and then swirl again onto your face.
For a natural look when using eye shadow you should use a natural shade but if you want a much more dramatic look then try using it wet, it makes for a more intense look and makes a hard line but if you use it dry it has a softer line and a more natural look, you can also use a darker shade as an eyeliner when using it wet.
The final touch is called your finishing veil this will give you a polished but natural look if properly applied, the finishing veil sets your makeup and hides your pores but without clogging them up (we don’t want spots do we?), because the finishing veil helps to control the oil on your skin and stops it from shining, translucent finishing veil is a transparent veil that should work well for most skin types
One thing to bear in mind is that mineral makeup is more forgiving than normal makeup so you don’t need to match the shade exactly to your skin tone but if you think you look a bit too yellow or a bit too pink then just mix two foundations together to get the shade that you desire.
If your foundation looks too yellow then blend neutral and rosy beige and if it looks too pink then you can blend cool and neutral to get just the right shade of mineral makeup for your skin tone.
